Mediation
What is mediation and what I do as a mediator
Johan Galtung says, “Peace is when people solve their conflicts creatively and constructively,” and this is the heart of my practice. Tension and conflict are natural parts of any relationship or collaboration, but how we approach and deal with them shapes our future. I offer mediation grounded in classical mediation, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and approaches that integrate nervous system awareness and mindfulness. I create an open and compassionate space where all voices can be heard, guiding you towards mutual understanding and resolutions that strengthen trust and connection for the road ahead.
Influences on my mediation practice
As mentioned above, my mediation practice is rooted in my training as a classical mediator. My practice is also informed by my expertise in:
- Non-violent communication
- Meditation and mindfulness
- Nervous system awareness
- Psychology, neuroscience and philosophy
- Buddhist and Daoist psychology
- Embodiment practices – Qigong, Tai Chi, Yoga and Breathwork
More about me, my path and my qualifications can be found in the about section.
How can we get started?
Before the first meditation session we have a meeting or call to get to know each other and briefly explore what the current topic or challenge is that you want to work on. In this first meeting we also clarify the expected effort and framework of our cooperation: time, duration, frequency, location and costs. We will also determine whether mediation is the adequate approach to the topic and whether I am the right meditatior for you. If we choose to work together, from my experience, it usually makes sense to do at least four 90 minute mediation sessions for strong and sustainable results.
How much does mediation cost?
I offer a sliding scale from 100 to 150€ per hour depending on your income. I can also acommodate a limited amount of solidarity places, so if you really want to work with me but cannot afford 100€ write me a message and we can see if we can work something out.
