Personal coaching

What is coaching?

Coaching is very similar to gardening. A gardener supports plants to grow by providing a nurturing environment. It is important that all the necessary ingredients for this flourishing to happen are already present in the plant. The role of the gardener is to provide the right conditions and nutrients for the plant to grow and thrive. This means providing the right soil, finding the perfect conditions for this particular plant, giving water and other nutrients, strategic pruning etc.

so that the plant can flourish

Fulfill their inherent potential

So as a coach I do exactly that but with clients. I support them to fulfill their inherent potential and lead them toward a happier more fulfilled life.

What do you do as a coach?

My intention as a coach is to enable you on your path toward an authentic and fulfilled life. The basis of my practice is to provide an open and nurturing environment in which transformation is possible. I listen deeply with my mind and body based on the principles of presence, compassion, clarity, honesty and non-judgement.

Instill in you a feeling of safety, confidence, gratitude, resilience and abundance.

This involves understanding the current challenge, clarifying the possible causes of the current situation, identify a path toward the intended outcome and then walking that path together. The main goal in this is to empower you to get in contact with your body and your intuitive wisdom and to empower you toward self-leadership.

  • Get in contact with their body
  • Find your true purpose in life
  • Embody your highest ideals

What does the coaching process look like?

Before the first coaching session we have a meeting or call to get to know each other and briefly explore what the current topic is that we could work on. In this first meeting we also clarify the expected effort and organisational framework of our cooperation: time, duration, frequency, location and costs. We will also determine whether coaching is the adecuate approach to the topic and whether I am the right coach for you.

If we decide to work together the coaching process usually consists of  four phases:

  • Analysis phase: Analysis of the current situation
  • Clarification phase: Clarification of concerns and goal, understanding the possible cause
  • Development phase: Development of strategies for change and action, as well as their reflection and possible adaptation.
  • Implementation phase: Integration of the change as well as its stabilisation and final evaluation.
